Salary: £35,000 + £7K Service charge

Located a few miles from Abingdon on the A420 between Swindon and Oxford is a busy destination gastro pub with an excellent reputation for its food and service.

Package:

• Package approx. £42,000
• Base Salary £35,000 + £7,000 Service Charge.
• Full time 48 hours – Working 5 days out of 7.
• 28 days holiday per annum.

The Role:

• This is a great opportunity for a Sous Chef from a fine dining or Rosette gastro pub background to work in this amazing venue & neighbourhood restaurant.
• I am looking for a Sous Chef with a fresh food background and someone who understands seasonal produce.
• This beautiful boutique gastro pub is set in the Oxfordshire countryside.
• As the Sous chef you will need to be able to help run the kitchen in a disciplined and systematic manner.
• This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef who is looking to develop their career.
• You will be working for a Head Chef who has built a reputation for high quality fresh food in previous roles and who will be running a team of highly skilled and motivated staff.
• The pub serves a fresh from scratch menu and delivers on average 100 covers per day.

Candidate:

• Must have great attention to detail.
• Experienced working with fresh seasonal ingredients.
• A team player who is happy to get stuck in and help the rest of the team.
• A passion for food and producing the best plates for guests.
• A Gastro Pub background or Rosette experience would be ideal but not essential.
• Candidates must have own motorised transport due to the rural location.
• Accommodation in a shared house next door can be available.
